COVID-19 Information

Requests for your child to attend school

As you know, as of Monday 23 March, schools in England are only open for children whose parents count as key workers and children who are vulnerable. To reduce the risk of infection we can only provide a limited number of places. You should only send your child to school if there is no other appropriate care available. The fewer children in educational settings, the lower the risk that the virus can spread and infect vulnerable individuals in wider society. Only complete the form below if it is necessary for you to go to work and no other arrangements are available, or if you believe your child is vulnerable at home and would be safer in school. As places are limited, our places will be reserved for the children of key workers and children who are vulnerable (have an EHCP or have an allocated social worker). We will do everything we can to accommodate other children as we understand circumstances are difficult, but cannot guarantee places. Guidance on who is a key worker can be found on the government website here:

https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/coronavirus-covid-19-maintaining-educational-provision/guidance-for-schools-colleges-and-local-authorities-on-maintaining-educational-provision

If you wish for your child to attend school, please complete the form below stating clearly your reasons for needing this provision and the days you would require childcare.

#futuretermspanel Excellent viewpoints, especially around the need to transition from the language of deficit to a positive language of learning, and the need for culture over curriculum. Sadly at odds with the current government narrative.

Love Natalie Brookshaws final point that culture comes before curriculum. If we don't get the culture right then even the best curriculum won't work #FutureTermsPanel
