Lucy Rundle

Vice Principal

Lucy is Primary Curriculum Lead for the trust and works across all primaries supporting leaders to develop their whole school curriculum and pedagogy. She is partly based at Dixons Trinity Chapeltown as Vice Principal, having joined the SLT in 2019 before the academy building was even built!

Lucy has been teaching for 20 years and has held senior leadership positions since 2007. She has taught across all year groups in the primary phase, leading on a variety of curriculum subjects and SENDCo, specialising in EYFS. In 2012, she became Deputy Headteacher of a Catholic school in Kirklees before being seconded to support a school requiring improvement in Wakefield.

Originally from Gateshead, Lucy now lives in North Leeds with her husband and 2 daughters. She is interested in powerful knowledge and cognitive psychology. She enjoys being part of a high performing academy trust making a difference to children's lives where it matters the most.
